WOODSLAND PINE
Sea Mist Green Carnival Glass 6" Souvenir Plate from the WWWCGA 1999 Las Vegas Convention. 'Woodsland Pine' was designed by Glen Thistlewood, assisted by Fenton designer Jon Saffell, after Fenton's 'Pinecone' design proved unworkable.
This plate has the original exterior -  Imperial's 'Open Rose' -
that was later replaced with a new design created by Glen Thistlewood called 'Flowers of the World', which featured alternating panels of Kansas Sunflowers
(Kansas was home to wwwcga)
, and Rosemary sprigs, for remembrance of past members and friends. Excellent undamaged contemporary condition.
Carnival Glass Clubs
have issued many different souvenirs over the years, mainly at their conventions. Some are reproductions of original patterns, modified per the club's instruction to include the Club name, and event details. Some  are  a wholly new interpretation and/or a combination  of vintage designs.
Contemporary Condition
refers to the lack of production issues which plagued antique glassware. Modern glassware is relatively free of those production issues due to modernized machinery, advances in glass making chemistry, and quality control. Even so, because modern Art Glass is generally still hand shaped, hand-painted and/or hand-iridized, each piece is technically a one-of-a-kind, and you may still find a minor production issue from time to time.
Combined Shipping
is offered for both domestic and international shipment of multiple purchases. All items are bubble wrapped and cushioned with peanuts; no tape is used on the  bubble wrap. Cartons are
labeled GLASS or FRAGILE, and
shipped in one business day; if I'm away then ASAP upon return.
All shipments are insured. International shipments will travel via USPS Priority Mail International for insurance and tracking purposes. The declared customs value will be the combined purchase price plus the actual shipping charge; no exceptions.
