Special issues (Four Dark Days in History, Jacqueline Kennedy First Lady) and book (Teddy Bare – the Real Story of Chappaquiddick) chronicling the death of JFK, follow up investigations and on going tragedies of the Kennedy clan. All issues are fully complete in overall very good condition. Here is the rundown of each publication:
LIFE November 29, 1963 – Complete memorial issue of the slain President. Issue features iconic photos from the day in Dallas (including frame by frame of the Zapruder film and profiles of LBJ and Lee Harvey Oswald) along with other features (including an article on the paperback success of the TARZAN series) and many Christmas themed ads (including a Disney themed RCA TV double page centerfold). Issue is VG in nice shape. Spine has some minor wear.
LIFE December 6, 1963 – JFK funeral issue with iconic Jackie, John Jr and Caroline cover and interior photos (including the burial of Lee Harvey Oswald). Other features include Dinosaurs at the NY World's Fair, lots of Christmas themed ads (including one with Jerry Lewis), Profile of Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee. Issue is VG
LIFE – SPECIAL EDITION - THE KENNEDYS. Stand alone 1968 issues tells the tragic story of John and Robert Kennedy in many never before seen full page photos. Complete 96 page issue is in fine condition.
KENNEDY AND HIS FAMILY IN PICTURES BY THE EDITORS OF LOOK. Special 1963 issues chronicles the rise and sudden end of Camelot in full and double page photos from the files of LOOK. Fine condition.
SATURDAY EVENING POST Dec 14, 1963 Memorial issue with Norman Rockwell cover of JFK. Multiple stories and photos on the Day in Dallas along with profiles LBJ and Oswald. Also profile of USC coach John McKay and comic Milt Kamen. Complete 84 page issue is VG condition. Some wear at top of spine.
FOUR DARK DAYS IN HISTORY – Photo History of President Kennedy's Assassination. Special 1963 one shot “collector's copy” on the death of JFK with iconic photos. Fine condition.
JACQUELINE KENNEDY FIRST LADY HER FASHIONS HER HOME HER WORDS – Souvenir issue published before the assassination in 1961 features a portfolio of photographs of Jackie, the children and JFK by Jacques Lowe and Richard Avedon. Fine condition.
MOTION PICTURE FEB. 1970 – Cover story of "The Hate Campaign Against Jackie Because of Ted Kennedy". Issue also includes coverage of the Death of Joseph P. Kennedy, full page ad featuring Blondie for Kodak Film, along with features on Lana Turner, Joanne Woodward, Paul McCartney, Dean Martin, Leslie Uggams and Elvis divorcing Priscilla. Complete. VG condition. Light spine and edge wear.
TEDDY BARE – THE LAST OF THE KENENDY CLAN by ZAD RUST. 1971 privately published paperback tells the real story of Chappaquiddick and the true end of the Kennedy dynasty. Book is in Fine condition.
