Aero Digest was a professional periodical covering the aircraft industry and the profession of flying. It began publication in 1921, originally appearing as the Official bulletin of the World's Board of Aeronautical Commissioners. At its inception Aero Digest was a channel for supporting and boosting the emerging fields of flight and aircraft manufacturing. Rich in early advertising for early aircraft tools and technologies, the Digest published policy positions, some technical articles and illustrations, and extensive humorous and lighthearted writing on the culture of industry and profession. As the industry and the field of flight progressed the publication broadened scope to cover missiles and missiles science as well as satellites. The magazine's subject matter became more scientific and technical at the same time, including more and more drawings, plans, and pieces on the physics of flight as time went on. Aero Digest ceased publication in 1956.
