Description
This listing is for three different and very rare original prints created by Edward Penfield in circa 1910. These prints had originally appeared in Collier's magazine. Given the popularity of the cover illustrations, Collier's came out with sets of prints of the covers and were sold to Collier's subscribers. Penfield is known as the father of American poster art for the monthly posters he created in the late 1890s as advertisements for Harper's Monthly. At the turn of the 20th Century, he moved on from Harpers and began to actively create magazine cover illustrations for Collier's and The Saturday Evening Post. These prints will be a nice addition to a Penfield collection and will look wonderful framed. The covers are protected in an archival print sleeve, protected by stiff shipping materials and will be shipped using USPS First Class Mail.
I will consolidate shipping charges for multiple orders. If you win multiple bids, do not pay immediately. I will send you an invoice for your multiple purchases that will have combined shipping. Thank you.
