Description

This is the February 1952 issue of Laff (“The Humorous Picture Magazine”). It features a two-page pictorial layout of star Janet Leigh (then a starlet). Someone wrote some numbers in pencil to the right and below one of her photos; he/she also doodled on one of her legs. There is also a feature on Lili St. Cyr.
The magazine measures approximately 10.25 x 13 inches and contains 44 pages.
Laff was one of many men's magazine that were published in the 1950s-1960s. Its focus was on humor, sports, politics, news and women! Laff claimed it was a humorous picture magazine, but the covers all featured strippers or beautiful showgirls.
Laff was published by Volitant Publishing Company. The magazine’s contents include risque cartoons, movie star pin-up style photos, etc.
