    Description

New Iron Machine & Design LLC is proud to offer our
NEW Production Replacement Atlas Horizontal Milling Machine Support Arm Lock Spacers (Atlas Part # M1-26).
If your Atlas Milling Machine Support Arm Lock Assemblies are missing the required spacers, or if you are still using original, worn out and deformed spacers, than you know the frustration and
difficulty of keeping the Support Arm Lock Assembly in alignment while inserting your Support Arm into the headstock
    .
These parts out of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU).
It is a very durable, modern polymer, with superior elasticity and resiliency to oils, solvents, and other chemicals found that are used in the shop compared to the original vulcanized rubber part. Rubber is notoriously difficult to machine, which is why in the past small, complex parts like these had to be pressure formed in expensive dies. By using modern polymers and manufacturing techniques, we are able to make affordable parts for your machine so you can spend your time machining the parts for your projects you actually want to make.
One final note, (not that I think anyone looking at this listing needs the disclaimer, but it is necessary for eBay):
This listing is for the two spacers only.
The complete Support Lock Arm Assembly shown in the first photo is only to show what the spacers look like in the assembly. I still need ours for our machine!
    ABOUT US
: Here at New Iron Machine & Design LLC we have a passion for the "Old Iron" machines that skilled craftsmen used when it was just
    expected
things would be high quality, made in America, and made to last. With many of our machines decades, in not a century or more old, it is only natural that even the best of these machines will inevitably require replacement parts and upgrades to keep running for decades more to come. Our philosophy is based on the idea of "New Iron": combining the technological advantages available today (including computer aided design and additive manufacturing) along with traditional manufacturing techniques and a philosophy that things still can - and should - be made high quality, made in America, and made to last.
Have an idea for something you think we should offer? We would love to hear from you.
