The New Yorker Magazine, March 9 1940, complete issue in gorgeous shape.  Constantin Alajalov did the cover.  This issue includes the story "Survivior" by John Cheever, "Some people are just plumb crazy" by Arthur Kober, and more.  The pages are crisp and clean, white without a hint of foxing or any other staining, no writing, no creases, nothing missing, tight to the staples. Strictly graded Fine, with a spine split from the top to the upper staple; it was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now.
