Description

The New Yorker Magazine, November 30 1963, complete issue in absolutely extraordinary shape.  Arthur Getz did the cover. This issue includes E.B. White's memorial for John F Kennedy, and other JFK material; the Gilbert Rogin story "Fielding's Progress," Thomas Whiteside's report about recent medical findings indicating that cigarette smoking may cause lung cancer, and the resulting dilemma faced by the tobacco industry, and more. The pages are crisp and clean, white without a hint of foxing or any other staining, no writing, no creases, nothing missing, tight to the staples. Strictly graded Very Fine; it is genuinely as-new, and was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now. Shipped in an archival sleeve with backing board. We have many other beautiful New Yorkers online now so please take a look. If there is an issue you are after please let us know.  All the images we show are of the actual item for sale.
