of these science fiction stories and novelettes in any publication. This is a 146 page pulp magazine published by
Better Publications
which measures about 8⅞” x 6⅝”. The magazine features a classic painted cover by artist Walter Popp and several illustrations by Peter Poulton, Jay Landau, and Ed Emshwiller inside. As shown in the photos, the magazine is in very good condition for its age with some cover wear and soiling. The paper is intact along the magazine’s spine, and the magazine is complete and remains well bound. Its interior pages are clean with some light corner bends/creases and no writing, rips, or tears. There is a very light edge stain on several pages near the end of the magazine. This rare vintage “Startling Stories” pulp magazine would make a great addition to your collection!
